Policies
Cancellations:
We require full payment for single day programs. Multi-day programs require 50% payment at time of booking and full payment 1 month prior to program start date unless otherwise noted.
All payments are 100 percent nonrefundable.
We understand life can be unpredictable, but we also value providing a reliable job to our guides so please reach out as early as possible if you want to make any changes to your reservation.
30+ days out, we can reschedule you for another date, applying the full credit.
14-29 days out, we can apply the amount toward another booking, minus a 20% administrative fee.
13 days or less, cancellations for any reason cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied to another booking.
Inclement Weather:
Weather, especially rain, is a normal part of the outdoors. All weather based cancellations are the sole decision of Peak Ascents. We will attempt to go out most days unless deemed unsafe. If our guides cancel your day prior to climbing, we will attempt to reschedule your day or offer a full refund. If your day is shortened due to weather we may prorate it to a half day (any time out up to 4 hours or until noon, whichever comes first), or a full day (any day over 4 hours).
Summer Camps:
All payment due by June 1st for all summer camps.
Reservations can be moved between camp weeks (i.e. changes) before June 1st as space allows. After June 1st, all payments are final and can not be refunded or applied to another booking.
Parents and participants can expect an email no later than four hours before the scheduled programming. We will send out an email if programming is to be cancelled.
In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, a free-day pass (with rentals) will be given to each participant. No refunds or make-up days will be offered.
Behavior Policy:
In order to provide the highest level of safety and as much fun as possible for each individual camper, we expect children to be respectful to the staff and to each other.
We ask you to instruct your child to communicate with the staff challenges or concerns they are having with someone else. We like to work with the children in real time to help solve conflicts.
If there are difficult issues we can’t remedy we will call the parent or guardian to be included in a plan for remedy. If jointly, we really can’t solve the problems and the behavior continues to be problematic, the camper will be removed for the remainder of the session and subsequent sessions they are signed up for. The parent/guardian will be called to pick up the child immediately. No refund will be given for the current session the child is enrolled in.
Additional Helpful Information:
A minimum of 4 participants required for us to run each session.
If we are unable to run the program we will provide a full refund to those enrolled.
